I’ve always wondered why the train stops in Victorville. I’ve only been there a couple of times, but it is quite a boring city and it is not like it is a major intersection of freeway, like Barstow. If they are going to do it right, go all the way into LA County, or better yet, have Amtrack stop in Las Vegas instead that bustling metropolitian city of Kingman.

So my biggest complaint is the end point being Victorville!! WHO wants to go there and STILL have to drive another hour or more to get where you’re going? Plus, I’d have to rent a car rather than take a short shuttle ride over to Disney or the hotel… I guess with Desert Xpress my question is….. ‘What’s the point of your service?’
