Actually, the French are pretty smart. The snobs in Paris and Nice hate America for our horrible fashion sense and clean-shaven women, but once you get into the country away from the cities the people actually get more down to Earth. While I don’t look to them for long-term advice on our economy, you can;t knock their gifts for cheese and wine making! :-)
